Rob Grace says,
Back in 2011 - July 10th at Newby Hall. A bit of silliness to mark Mr Jenner removing his tash someone arrived with fake mustaches for us to put on. Can't remember who. P500 my manual x300 xjr is to the left of the photo. I wanted to submit a photo with some of the club spirit as well as the car. Happy days. We will get back to them soon.
Claude Delannoy (France) says,
This photo was taken by a friend at the annual classic car show (coupe de l'âge d'or) in the park of Chateau Colbert in Maulévrier ( Pays de Loire).
I ‘ve owned the Jaguar Mark 2 since 1979 . Complete restoration . I was dressed according to the age of the English car.
Model : JAGUAR Mark 2 3.4 L Maroon metallic . Beige interior. Year : 1964. RHD.
Barrie Birkin says,
I’ve had my S type for over 30 years now, also belonging to the JEC for that time.
I’ve enjoyed trips to the Goodwood Revival several times and the car has never broken down in my ownership.
I bought the car only when it was offered to me after being abandoned for many years. It has had little work done to it other than an engine overhaul and a respray.
I took the picture in my drive in black and white which I thought showed off the car well.
Nick Cliffe says,
Rob Jenner and Letitia Mace visited our Regional AGM in March this year and gave us a fascinating presentation on their motoring lives, with particular emphasis on the XJ40, another model which appeals to me.
Soon afterwards I spotted this Jade Green one in the JEC classifieds which had covered just under 16,000 miles from new and what's more, it was fairly local. So of course I just HAD to buy it and luckily it was the day before the 'lockdown' kicked in so I was just in time. Not done many miles in it since but at the time of writing restrictions are just being eased so looking forward to using it!
Nick Cliffe says,
This is my 1971 V12 E-Type which I have owned for three years now. The best trip we had in it was to last year's Blenheim Festival where we drove around the grounds in the Grand Parade. The car had covered just under 25,000 miles from new when Rob Hawkins took this photo as part of a session for a feature on it which was published in Classic Jaguar magazine April/May 2019 issue.
It is an entirely original unrestored car apart from a paint refresh carried out before I purchased it. I have driven it to many shows and occasionally just a blast down the country lanes for the sheer enjoyment of it!
James Matheson says,
Jaguar E - Type 2+2 , photo taken in Lavenham waiting to enter show last August.
Peter Rodgers (Red Rose) says,
Taken by the seaside and it wa# taken by me.
Ray Brooks (West Sussex) says,
Last to arrive and last to leave !😀😀! This was soft top Sunday Goodwood Breakfast Club 2018. The circuit is clockwise only so unfortunately we had to complete a lap to reach the exit, what a pain !😀😀! Mind you, didn't take long !
Simon Buck - Honour (West Sussex) says,
This is my 2008 XK 5-litre R taken at my home in West Sussex recently. How I miss the car shows this summer!
Ian Pendlebury (Greater Manchester) says,
On a visit to the former Woodford aircraft factory in Cheshire which is now known as the Avro Heritage centre. I cheekily asked if I could take some photos of my car under the nose of XM 603 Vulcan bomber. To my surprise they agreed and allowed me to photograph my car. After playing around with one of the photos I took that day decided to change it to black & white.
I have owned the X350 for three years now and have to say my favourite trip out was last years annual JEC event to Blenheim Palace. There are not too many UK spec X350’s in white.
Henry Fryer (Wiltshire) says,
1981 Jaguar XJ-Pre HE. An interesting ’cross over car’ being a Pre HE but one of the last and fitted with the later type fuel injection system. Belonged to my father who bought it when it was only a few years old, but when he upgraded to a later car in the late 90s he could not sell it. No one would buy this white XJ-S with Vinyl Roof and Red seats, car traders said no one would want a white car or a Vinyl Roof. So into the garage it went. I found paperwork showing that my dad had planned to use the car to fit an E-Type 4.2 Manual engine and gearbox to but this was never done, now with changing fashion white cars and red interiors are back in but unfortunately my XJ-S is not for sale, it’s part of the family having been with us so long!
Nick Cliffe (Shropshire and Welsh Borders) says,
On a hot summer's day I can't wait to get my XKR out of the garage, lower the hood and get some wind in what's left of my hair!
I've had this for just over three years now, having previously had a 1997 XK8 convertible and what a difference the supercharged 4.2 litre XK engine makes to the performance. I had been lusting after a Sea Frost one for some time but not many around so when I saw this offered by another JEC member in the Club magazine I quickly headed down to the south coast and snapped it up. It is utterly immaculate with no rust whatsoever as he had looked after it so well; I am carrying on that fine tradition and have taken it to many shows, alternating with my E-Type.
The photo was taken by Paul Walton, Editor of Jaguar World magazine for a feature in the November 2019 issue and was also on the front cover. This was one time where tailgating was acceptable, with me a few inches from the X-Type estate in which he was lying in the back with the tailgate open taking shots!
Simon Green (London) says,
Driving my 1966 Series 1 e type 4.2l 2+2 through Windsor Castle in the parade during the 2017 festival - what an unforgettable experience!
Steve Brown in Derbyshire says,
I've had Fillopa for a couple of years now and loved every minute of it. She's #63 of the Le Mans Celebration edition and I'm only the 2nd owner. I've had all the rust underneath removed, the electrics are sorted and she runs fantastically well. Just need some cosmetic bodywork done now to finish the job, My favourite trip was the Goodwood revival festival last year which benefited from sunshine for all three days. Love driving her around the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales.
Robert Smith, North Wales and Cheshire says,
This was the first time my children had seen my car a Jaguar xk8 year 2000.
4lt black anthracite Smith ivory hide inside I am the second owner from new
50.000 genuine miles I have had the car since July 2019 I had been looking
At the Xk8 model for two years to buy but at last I found the Beast witch
I fell in love with I call her sphinxy Ref to the Black cats from Egypt.
A car that I will cherish for all of time it never lets me down .
Tony Brown says,
This is my partner Elizabeth adorning the bonnet of my 1989 Jaguar XJS 3.6 coupe at Littlethorpe House a couple of years ago whilst attending the Southern Jaguar Meeting.
I've owned the car since 1994.
She's a beauty (car & partner) - some brownie points there methinks!!!!
David Woodward says,
The photo was taken at Capesthorn Hall Jaguar day
Tony Slinn writes:
I bought my XK Dynamic R coupé not long after Mike Horlor bought his Dynamic R convertible, and for similar reasons. I had a perfectly good 2006 4.2-litre XKR, but just couldn’t resist the idea of the run-out model.
As such, it came with both the previously optional Black Dynamic Pack and Speed Pack as standard. The Black Pack features black finishes to the front grilles, air intakes and side vents, plus 20-inch Vortex diamond-turned alloy wheels with red brake calipers. The Speed Pack gave it stiffer suspension knuckles, springs and dampers from the XKR-S and a 10mm reduction in ride height, plus a larger front splitter and spoiler, deeper side skirts, and a performance exhaust.
It also came with ‘Performance Seats’, which have slimmer backs and give an extra couple of inches legroom—important when you’re 6ft 3ins tall like me.
The 5-litre 510PS double overhead camshaft supercharged V8 with 32 valves, variable valve timing and 625Nm of torque sends it from 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds, with a governed top speed of 174mph. But it’s the looks that get me every time. Designer Ian Callum said his inspiration for the X150’s shape came from Kate Winslet's curves—and I can see why!
The photo was taken on entering 'Motors by the Moat' at Leeds Castle in 2017.
Jerry Stamper has come all the way from Portsmouth and says,
Picture taken soon after I bought the car in 2019. Since when we have enjoyed touring our local country side and entering several displays. Wherever it has been, people have commented on its beautiful colour and its superb condition. Needless to say I have several trophies to show for it!
Simon Biggs says,
This was taken on 11th May 2019 at Baggeridge Country Park. The car was being photographed by a professional photographer for an article in Classic Jaguar Magazine. I found the whole photo shoot experience very interesting. The article I wrote myself. It was about selecting the S Type (this is a 3.4S automatic in willow green) for my six foot six inch frame. Classics can be a problem when your tall. I have now had the car 10 years.
During this time I have concentrated on mechanical improvements and it is now nearly perfect.
Paul Whitehouse says.
This picture was taken of my car by John of "Moves lie Jaguar" at Blenhiem Palace last years JEC day because he said it really caught his eye . This XJ40 is a early digidash 3.6 litre model in Tungsten grey/silver & was just about to go on a scrap yard lorry in May 2005 when I offered the owner a service on his Audi in exchange for the car which he gladly accepted because the scrap man had only offered a free collection as there was no price in scrap metal at that time , all work since then includes a full Daimler interior & all new body panel from a donor car which cost £400 , paint & wheels which cost me £410 off eBay .
Colin Shippey (East Sussex) says,
My X-type taken by me at Heaven Farm at our monthly Jaguar Breakfast. Original condition with 19000 miles from new having spent 10 years in a barn
Richard Brown (London) says,
This as taken on VE Day. The beautiful rear end of the Daimler Sovereign 420 reflects the Union Flag hanging outside my house, celebrating all the brave souls that fought in the wars and who are fighting the coronavirus now.
Elizabeth Biggs says,
This is my wonderful XK8 which is an early 1996 model. It was my treat to myself after a 34 year teaching career and a good use of part of my lump sum on retirement. After 37 years of being married to a classic car fan, I’m getting to know my cars. As my husband has an S Type mine had to be a Jaguar as well, what else! This photo was taken whilst on a run out with a group of friends and is a country garden centre somewhere in Shropshire. I’m looking forward to the re-start of the show season but in the mean time I’m working on improving the interior of my car and sorting out the odd paint issue.
Neil Astbury (Sussex) says,
1966 Mk10 4.2 manual.
Purchased in February 2020 needing light restoration.
Owned by Jim Whitehouse of Arden engineering for a long time .
Henry Fryer (Wiltshire) says,
My 1989 Jaguar Sport XJR 3.6. One of only 252 cars built, the first factory Jaguar XJR built in a combined effort between Jaguar and TWR. I bought this car in auction because I always loved the XJ40 and a TWR XJ40 felt like the best one to have. I’ve used this car as both a daily driver and a show car and it’s never let me down. In 2016 a friend and I drove it to Le Mans for the 24 Hour Race, and we had the honour of doing a lap of the circuit in the XJR. This picture was taken at Beaulieu Simply Jaguar by my friend and biggest enthusiast I know Robert Denton, it’s during the parade where the XJR was chosen as one of the shows Peoples Choice cars.
Keith Thomas (North Lincs) says,
Taken at the end of the "Lincolnshire 100 "run in 2019 at Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre. This is a well established annual event, 100 classics covering 100 miles and raises funds for the local Air Ambulance.
Pictured with my 19 year old daughter, Katie, this was her second run behind the wheel thanks to Abbeyfield Insurance who arranged the cover. The youngest driver on the day as far as we know, definitely the youngest Jaguar skipper!.
TUF is a (very) late 1993 build 4L Coupe, registered in 1994 and I have owned for 14 years now. We usually manage to cover 1-1.5k miles annually and have been with the JEC since day 1!
Keith Thomas (Lincolnshire North) says,
Taken at the start of the 2019 "Lincolnshire 100" charity run at Pennell's Garden Centre North Hykeham, Lincoln.
The Triumvirate pictured belong to Richard Warrilow (J290), Dave Dawson of Lincoln Jaguar Specialist (F189) and Keith Thomas (L638).
100 classics covering 100 miles raising funds for the local Air Ambulance, the run highlight of the year especially with weather like that on the day!
Dave Fieldsend (North Yorkshire) says,
My 1996 XJ6 restomod
4 years ago the timing chain jumped and destroyed the engine. Rather than scrapping it, I decided to totally rebuild the entire car which included a few "upgrades" and notable features from past Jaguars (twin fillers for example)
Colin Porter (Somerset) says,
This my 2002 Jaguar XKR photo taken at Gloucestershire Vintage &
Country Extravaganza at South Cerney airfield, fantastic show.
Louis Rutter (Wiltshire) says,
My beautiful Radiance Red 2004 XK8 convertible, photographed in the Algarve, where we have been confined for three months. We drove down in November intending to spend the winter here and drive back in early April but circumstances changed those plans. In normal times there is a monthly informal Classic Car Meet above the beach near us which would feature XK120s, XK140s , XK150s and XK8s amongst the dozens of fabulous "Classics" of all types and ages, but since March the country has been in "lockdown" . We hope to be back in the U.K. in time for the Summer Festival in August. Meanwhile we'll have to put up with the sun and the sea and the sand. . . . . .
Colin Porter (Somerset) says,
This is the Palmer Jaguar JP1 I share with my friends at Swallows Racing, photographed here at Silverstone Classic 2019.

Rich Baker, Peterborough says
2016 XF Portfolio 2.0d (180ps) in British Racing Green.
I’ve always liked Jags and got the chance to get one last year. I love sunroofs and I don’t like dark interiors so no window tinting and light upholstery. Also, I like actual colours; I don’t understand the fashion for grey cars, black is overdone and white is not for me. As I’m not a racer, the 180ps car is fast enough. I spent some time finding the right car and, after a couple of months looking online, found this one in Kent. I took this photo on my driveway just after having some pre-purchase dents removed.
Richard Llewellyn (Devon) says,
My Mk2 3.8 is a 1961 model that I had restored in 2002 by Bristol Classic and Sports Cars.
I have driven about 17,000 trouble free miles since and it has been to Goodwood Revival every year for the last 15 years.
It is pictured outside Barford House in Somerset
Mark Pearson (North East) says,

Chris Connery says,

Michael Hagger (Norway) says,

Alan Smith says,
2007 S Type R at my storage facility, 80000 miles.
Mark Brock (North Yorkshire) says,
Definitely *not* the oldest car on the showfield - we had just collected my brand new XF Sportbrake from Grange Jaguar in Swindon and driven straight down to the 2013 Southern Day at Littlecote on 1st September. 6¾ years later it is still carrying tools, dog and more, my 4th Jaguar and the longest I have ever owned a car by some margin. Hope to come to the next Northern Day now we've moved!
Geoff Johnston (Central region) says,
”Having fun in a Jaguar as always!”
Peter Davies says,
Can’t re member the exact date but 2018/19 on a Central Region run around Warwickshire .

Chris Connor (Surrey JEC) says,
Photograph by Chris Connor (owner) at Stow Maries a restored WW1 airfield in Essex.
I have owned this Etype for 37 years. Having decided to tidy up a few rust bubbles on one wheel arch - I ended up conducting a 10 year full nut and bolt restoration learning many skills along the way.
Michael Thomas (Dorset) says,
This is my first Jaguar and I'm hooked for life, this humble 2.5L V6 X type is way more than just "a baby jag" or "posh mondeo" Ive owned it since March so only done a few hundred miles in it but I've spent lockdown tidying a few cosmetic bits such as a black mesh grille set, anthracite resprayed wheels, smoked rear lights, side repeaters and tinted fog lights. I can't wait to get some decent road trips under my belt now
Mervyn Jenkins says,
Our car is a 2007 S Type R with 52,000 miles on the clock. The picture was taken by a friend when my wife and I attended a JEC Costa Blanca Region day out, north of Torrevieja in 2019.
Doug Warren (Essex) says
I took this picture a few years ago when I organised a long weekend break to Reims for JEC Essex Thameside Region. We attended Circuit de Reims-Gueux for a day out and had a great time checking out the history of the 'old' racing circuit. Now a public road, opening up my XK8 along the straight in front of the 'pits' was the icing on the cake!
David Wood (North - East) says,
This is my X-350 4.2 Sovereign, which I have owned for 8 years. It is smooth, quiet, comfortable and utterly luxurious. As well as the more practical issues of ultra reliable, rust free and (for a V8) very economical. Beyond any doubt this is the best car I have ever had, and I'd like it to be a keeper.
The picture was taken by me, using a telephoto lens, at a distance and uphill. The image was layered in Photoshop, with a monochrome background with red filter ensuring the right amount of contrast, while the car body was saturated to show off the Pacific colour.
John Reessink says,
As a little boy, I dreamed I wanted a Jaguar when I was growing up, 10 years ago I bought the XJ40 a week ago the S type.
Graham Searle (Bristol) says,
My 1958 Mark Vlll, taken at Thorseby in 2004 after our very wet 20th anniversary event. we were just leaving the Warners hotel when a photographer shooting the next years brochure asked if he could take pictures, 3 hours later we left. But worth it as this pic appeared as a full page in their brochure.

Taken 9th May 2020 on a recent pastoral visit to my trusty X-350 in lockdown. As you can see from the photo this is a Jaguar Racing Green 4.2 Sovereign LWB. We take essential exercise together every 3 weeks or so: not going far or fast but just doing enough to stay healthy.

I took this shot of a rather famous D-Type during the Monaco Historique Grand Prix which in those days supported the F1 Grand Prix. The owner had driven it to Monaco, he won the race and then he drove it home.
Not the best photo, but a bit of Jag history.

Taken in the Cotswolds yesterday, this is my 1995 Moroccan red XJS Celebration, in fantastic condition for a 25 year old car and with only 48,000 miles on the clock. Every little thing works perfectly, leather’s in great condition, unmarked alloys, brand new Pirellis, and great paint. I’m sounding like a used car dealer but it’s not for sale!
David Bett says,
I’m 25 years old this year (I know, it’s hard to believe), born in January 1995 and originally worked on home turf for a company director based in Coventry. Not too long after I made my way to Aberdeen doing the same kind of work and by 2002, I met my current owner. So, for the last 18 years we have worked closely together. With some relief, I am now retired from daily tasks and taking part in public shows. This photograph was taken before heading for the Concours of Elegance, 2015 at the Royal Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Vince Olney says,
Here is my 2008 XKR Portfolio. She is parked up in the drive awaiting the green light to head for the hills following lockdown!
Alan Richell says,
The XJS has for me always been the car of desire. I grew up with it dominating my car consciousness; bold, striking and so very different from what went before and, as it happened, what came after. I had to wait a long time until this original 6 litre V12 XJR-S appeared for sale from another JEC member. Since acquisition it has been through a full restoration upgrade and is very definitely here to stay.
Richard Lyon says,
1948 Mk IV Jaguar. Bought from Holland Nov 2017.

Frist wash and first polish for my 2006 Jaguar X350 XJ series 4.2 V8 LWB Sovereign. after taking delivery of her in May 2019. BF06XMK (now DEC 940) started life as part of the Royal Fleet and is believed to have been in service at Sandringham. She features the unusual two individual rear power seats configuration with DVD, TV and audio front and rear.
Attending the Blenheim Jaguar Festival just weeks after taking ownership, and in the company of many rare and distingusihed Jaguars as they made their way to the showground in glorious weather, was a memorable moment. Now, we are looking forward to many more including, we trust, Newby Hall in August 2020.
Stuart Kennedy says,
This is my 1998 XK8 Convertible in Sherwood Green with Oatmeal Interior and a green hood. Now 22 years old and I have owned it for 18 years. The original registration was R649 MGN and is now 5 VK. I bought the registration number 5 VK (my initials are SVK) at a DVLA Auction in Cambridge in 1996. It is now worth more than the car!
My wife, Rhonda, and I spent a wonderful week touring southern Ireland with the top down, staying in B&Bs and fishing. I have been planning a European Tour but that will have to wait for a while.
I intend to keep the car long term and my 9 year old grandson already has his eye on it!

Nick Arthur says,
My 2010 XF 3.0 V6 'S' Portfolio was photographed at my home in Cornwall in 2019, by me. My first Jaguar was a 1964 'S'Type 3.8 which was bought in 1972! There was a long gap then until I 'saw the light' again! And, in 2002, as a hobby, I bought a 1989 low mileage XJ40 3.6 Sovereign. In 2011 I acquired a 2001 XJ8 4.0 Sovereign which I still have. At one time I was a three Jag owner, but reluctantly had to part with the XJ40 in 2016, so now have just the two.

At home in our drive Carole’s Series 1 Daimler double six Vanden Plas just delivered having bought the car in Wales whilst on holiday together with my Jaguar XK-RS in our drive in 2019. 40 years age difference between the cars.
Steve Pearce says,
Car has just been cleaned after trip on clay pigeon shoot on Friday
Steve Pearce says,
This is my second Jaguar a 3.4 S type have won't one for 40 years and now in retirement I have the time to look after it so way not
Kevin Bending says, This is my X100 XKR convertible, nicknamed "The Beast" which I have owned since June 2016. I bought it because I like the classic look of the X100, especially from the front, which this photo captures perfectly. My name is Kevin Bending and I work as a Civil Funeral Celebrant in Peterborough. This photo was taken in the car park at Peterborough Crematorium. I took it after leading a funeral service - seeing my pride and joy gleaming in the sunshine cheered me up no end! My favourite trip in the car was to Northern Ireland on the JEC's 2018 tour....it was fabulous weather, an excellent hotel and we made some good friends. "The Beast" loved it too!
Brian Spencer says,
This is my wife's MY1990 XJ-S outside the Wrest Point Casino in Tasmania, taken last year on one of our regular Jaguar group outings. Over the 15 years in the family the car has won awards at Jaguar Car Club concours and other car shows.
It is the ultimate grand tourer and always a head turner as only an XJ-S can. There are not many things that can better driving the highways and byways, topless, as they say.
Trond Furenes (Norway) says: This is my 1959 Jaguar Mark1, 3,4 overdrive, manual RHD.
This picture was taken outside the Vintage Concept Club near Stavanger, Norway, and the car is a lovely drive in long, light Norwegian summer evenings.
In the background, is my 1978 Jaguar XJ.
Trond Furenes (Norway) says: The last one of my entries, and the newest car of mine, is this Queen of Green Sands - a beautiful Daimler Sovereign 4,2 1977, originally sold to Brighton, with a matching interior and very low mileage. Drove 200 miles the day this picture was taken, in the lack of a proper hotel in the Norwegian forests there was an outdoor lunch just off the main road - which would not be considered very "main" by standard most places...
Either way, except a minor gas leakage this lady took us home safe and sound, and will be driven much more this summer than previous years.
Lelsey King, (Kent South) This snap was taken with the backdrop of Leeds Castle in Kent - a stunning photo opportunity for a stunning lady! A 1993 built, 1994 registered, Guy Salmon, 4L, Insignia XJS, in lavender and a very rare car. She is my 'Pride and Joy' and a definitely a ladies car, but sits nicely alongside my other XJS - a 1986, 5.3L, V12, TWR!
GP Langlois says: Jaguar X Type.
On a sunny and quiet Summer Day.
Marcus Knight says:
Margate 2019 sixties Mod Weekender, all dressed up waiting for my mates before going out on the tiles, talking to and elderly lady who was reminiscing about the days when and her husband had and Etype, that’s one of the best things about owning a Jaguar the people you meet and the stories they tell from a bygone age that if the truth be know we would all loved to have been there back in the day...
Graham Wood says: The XKR 'BADCAT' SPECIAL, here at Goodwood, is reputedly the most modified road going X100 in existence. (GRRC and Jaguar World ).
Thirteen years of R&D, fabricating bespoke upgrades, in both power and aero, (splitter and wing) has culminated in a unique road / track day Jaguar, favourably compared with the much newer Jaguar sponsored Palmersport XKR track car.
Uniquely Whipple supercharged with mechanical throttle body and bonnet fed plenum induction, the ‘Badcat Special’ now delivers 805Nm torque and 632 Hp through its' 6 speed Tremec manual gearbox / Mcleod twin plate clutch and Quaife LSD'.
Induction is Superchilled with separate heat exchanged / refrigerated charge coolant and the bespoke fabricated 4-2-1 stainless Zircotec coated headers and downpipes breathe a fabulous throaty V8 note.
David Ghost (West Sussesx) says: After years of yearning acquired "KIT" in 2001. The necessary updates were carried out such as timing chains, water pump etc. Gives a wonderful feeling whenever she is driven.
Picture was taken at home prior to taking part in London to Brighton run. Taken by co-driver Keith.
Tony Walker says: I achieved my life time ambition of finely owning my very own Jaguar last August, a treat for my 60th Birthday. Really enjoying the ownership experience including the membership of JEC. Cannot wait to be able to plan our road trip to Gibraltar to sea our Grandchildren. I'm sure the journey will be a dream.
Rob Harris (Kent South) says:
1967 E Type 2+2 82,000 miles from new. Concours condition with history . Photograph at the Appledore Classic Car Show, Kent, July 31 2019 where we won Car of the Day.
Carole Simpson-Hadley (Shropshire & Welsh Borders) says: "Purrrdy", our 1992 XJS 4.0 AJ6 Phase One facelift (68K miles from new), taken at our local park by my partner, Peter.
Purrrdy came to us early in 2018 via the CCA sale at NEC Practical Classics Show, having been in store for 8 years. We spent an enjoyable 9 months getting her to how we wanted, including new windscreen, complete front end susp/steering/brakes etc rebuild, a myriad of other jobs, and fitment of the SNG Barratt quad-headlamp set.
First outing lined up with the D-type at JLR Classic, what a memory!
Definitely here to stay.
Carole Simpson-Hadley (Shropshire & Welsh Borders) says:
"Myfannwy", our 2007 XK X150 4.2 (naturally-aspirated) in Lunar Grey with Ivory.
Photo taken by my partner, Peter; sadly not our front gates!.....but rather Powys Castle, Welshpool.
We found Myfannwy in South Wales in early 2016 with, amazingly, just 6K miles from new; now has covered 12K with careful annual servicing.
We enjoy the XK for our more spirited drives, reserving the XJS for more leisurely days out in keeping with her greater age!
A particularly memorable week was a visit to the West Country for Haynes museum, "Broadchurch" country, and the Jurassic coast...the CATS suspension makes her a delight to drive the A and B roads of areas such as that.
Carole Simpson-Hadley (Shropshire & Welsh Borders) says:
"Lady Jane Grey", our 2003 4.2 V8 S-type, 38K miles from new, taken by us at Himley Hall & Park near Wombourne; once seat of the Earls of Dudley and where Edward & Mrs Simpson took their honeymoon. Regularly visited by my partner, Peter, and I.
Lady Jane came to us in May 2019, replacing a troublesome 2007 2.7D S-type. The eagle-eyed will spot the Triton wheels which came from the 2.7D (better looking, and shod with new Goodyear), and the mesh grille, which we think looks better than the "waterfall" original. We are not normally one for adding leapers, but this one came so adorned and had been done properly and thoughtfully by the original (only) owner. Peter says, when driving, it takes him right back to the 1970s when he owned a 1965 (original shape) S-type (yes, we wish it was still with us!).
Carole Simpson-Hadley (Shropshire & Welsh Borders) says:
Another of "Myfannwy", our 2007 4.2 XK X150, 12K miles from new.
Couldn't resist adding this one as one of our memorable trips back to where we found the XK (South Wales) when we toured my partner, Peter's, old haunts looking out the locations from the 1959 film "Tiger Bay".
This is Swanbridge, near Sully Island, with Flat Holm and Steep Holm (in the Bristol Channel) in the background.....at the end of the dead-end lane along which the final scenes with the police Wolseley 6/80s at high-speed took place.
Yes, we noticed the double yellows, sorry officer, but they weren't there in 1959!!
Derek Freestone (Kent )
Taken by the owner on a visit to our French friends.
Alan Marsden (Berkshire Thames Valley) says,
This was taken by me at Howbery Park (between Wallingford & Benson) in August 2019 having just collected my baby following a full bare metal respray. I missed all of last years events so wanted a nice back drop to remember the home coming.

Peter Butler, (Buckinghamshire) says, “
My 1986 V12 XJS , taken by me , just before setting off to Goodwood revival with my father in law Ted (and XJ8 owner and previous owner of my XJS). The XJS has been in my family for 32 of her 34 years and we wouldn’t part with her for anything!”
Barry O Brien (Dublin) says, This is a pic of xjs 1996 getting ready to get boat to holyhead and drive to goodwood revival 2019.
Have her now 7 years. Lots of work to get here to this condition. Now on 152,000 miles and like myself "all good so far".
Julian Cheese (Kent South) says,,
Here is a picture of my XKR-S Stratstone at Beachy Head. This was a glorious summer afternoon two years ago. With all the lovely weather we have had 'down South' it is a shame we have been on lockdown and unable to to meet up or even pop out to a pub in our cars.
Mick Tillott (Kent South) says,
Taken at home for insurance agreed value.
Andrew Dartnall (Kent South) says,
2001 Jaguar XKR, a proper GT car doing what it does best. It made the front cover and a 4 page article in Jaguar World. The photo is lost in France coming back from Laon Classique, taking the country route.
Andrew and Rosemary Dartnall
Daniel Guillien says,
this photo was taken in Pau France at Hotel Beaumont during my daughter's wedding

My 2.2 Sport Premium, taken in Brock, a little village outside Preston, Lancs, by myself just after it’s purchase.
Gordon Jones (Bucks and Herst) says,
This was taken while on last year's Spain/Portugal trip by Alan, using monochrome to great effect as he lay on the steps to the main entrance of our hotel in Porto where my car had pride of place! 3057 SM was constructed from 2 sets of 'bits' over a four year period, going 'live ' in 1997, and has taken part in some great JEC tours!
Jo Tollhurst (Portsmouth) says,
Our Realm XKSS, out of lockdown and raring to go!
Jo Tollhurst (Portsmouth) says,
Our XK120 Super Sport, the first Jaguar to race in California in 1950; Le Mans Classic again next year, perhaps!
John Tyson (Cheshire) says,
Picture taken outside Willington Hall (hotel and restaurant) Cheshire. I have owned the 3 litre diesel Portfolio XJ In Italian Racing Red with Ivory leather since August 2019. It is approaching 4 years old. An absolutely beautiful car with amazing economy and performance. It has been used for a number of short breaks in UK and regular day trips. Hoping to take it on the Northern N500 in Scotland in September. A replacement for an XFS Portfolio diesel.
Lesley King (Kent South) says,
Here is my other XJS and another rather special car, as a 5.3L, V12, automatic TWR. Definitely a Jaguar in lambs clothing, as she goes like the wind and is far more comfortable cruising at speed, that sitting in traffic! A regular head-turner - especially when Joe-Public realises that the driver is a grey-haired lady!! I took this photo at the JEC, 20th Anniversary of the XJS, at Thoresby Hall in 2004; where my car was part of their Historic Display.
Michael Boulton (Merseyside) says,
Picture taken at a local garage when getting petrol. Owned for five years. A rare 2.5 model. I bought the car because I loved its design when it first came out.
Karl Seddon (Portsmouth) says,
My father had a white Mk2 in 63 when I was only 3 years old. I remember it vividly! Now I'm retired I have the means to own one for myself, so last week I bought the car you see in the picture. My father is now 86 and I can't wait to surprise him with it when I next visit him. Also looking forward to the delights of ownership and being a member of JEC!
